This tour starts at the famous St Michaels Mount, over looking Mounts Bay. This 12th Centuary Monastery stands proundly on top of the Mount, now the home of the St Levan family this National trust treasure has a long and interesting past, and is well worth a visit. You will have a couple of Hours to go and explore, and depending on the tide you can walk the causeway or take the ferry.
We will then take a leisurely drive along the seafront of Penzance and Newlyn until we get to Mousehole. This little fishing harbour is famous for the Story of the Mousehole cat. It is a very picturesque village with plenty of photo opportunities, also a must for Artists. We wll grab some lunch here before we head along the coast towards Lands End stopping at a Neolithic Stone Circle, and a great photo stop at the Penberth Cove, another jaw droppingly pretty little fishing harbour, and a short stop at the Minack Theatre.
We will then take a drive around to Lands End and back along the North Coast which is one of the most Scenic drives in Cornwall with Spectacular coastal and moorland views, leading into St Ives. If we have time you will be able to take a look around St Ives, famous for its Fishing heritage and 1930's Art movement, it is now a mecca for artists and boasts some great galleries including the Tate St Ives.
We will then take the main roads back to your accommodation.
