DESCRIPTION

FULL DAY TOUR

We start this tour in the Old town of Bodmin, on the edge of the moors, the previous 'capital town' of Cornwall it is steeped in history, with the old Gaol, Steam Railway, Great church, Army Barracks and grand old buildings it's worth a look before we head up onto the moors.

We take the smallest roads up and over the moors, stopping regularly for photo stops and to see old mines and a moorland pony or two! We then head towards Looe on the South Coast of Cornwall, where you can take in the fishing harbour, beach, shops and cafes before we head down the coast to Polperro. You will take a small electric tram or horse and cart down into the village centre and harbour where you can soak up the views or wander the little back streets browsing the array of shops.

After lunch we follow the coast along to the Ferry across the River Fowey where again you can have some time to wander around this famous town. There's plenty of History here, from Tudor castles and block houses to Daphne Demaurier buildings, you'll find plenty to do for the afternoon.

We then head back to your accommodation over the old China Clay pits and past the Eden Project with some great views and couple of little photo stops on route.
