Price for car with guide: £425 for 1-4 passengers, or £475 for 5-8 passengers.

These are private tours with your own guide and transport, and we can carry up to 8 passengers. Entrance fees are not included so you’ll need to pay them as we go. You’ll also need a little money for food and drink.
Pick up and drop off at your accommodation in Cornwall included. Normally 9.00am to 5.00pm.

During the 19th century many Cornish Miners and their families emigrated from Cornwall, ending up in America, Australia and South Africa. It has been estimated there are some 6 million descendants of these miners now living around the world, Cousin Jacks and Cousin Jennies!
We’ve been sucessfully putting together geneaolgy tours for customers from all around the world for the last 15 years, often connecting long lost relatives, finding family homes and visiting churches to find family gravestones.
Not only do we help you plan your whole trip to Cornwall, including transfers to and from the county, we can also recommend suitable accommodation and work with you to produce a detailed itinerary based on whatever family history you can provide.
Our itineraries can include a visit to the village that your family came from, the mines they worked at, and the churches they attended. We also include visits to mining museums and sites important to the mining community such as Gwennap Pit or Carn Brea.
We can also include a visit to Kresen Kernow, (Cornwall Centre in English), which has the worlds largest collection of books, documents and maps relating to Cornwall’s History. It may also be worth contacting the Cornwall Family History Society to help piece together more of your familiy history before we build your tour.
